A bit about the job.

  • Be the subject matter expert for all things Client Accounting - from the flow of rent collections and landlord payments to reconciliation processes and client money protection requirements.
  • Support our in house Client Account experts to optimise Client Accounting workflows to bring best in class functionality to the UK Letting Agency CRM market.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers - reviewing prototypes, testing new features and making sure the end result truly works for agents.
  • Support sales and onboarding calls with potential and new customers, answering detailed accounting questions and showing how Street solves their everyday challenges.
  • Create training materials and run workshops for Customer Success and Support teams so they can confidently help users with accounting-related queries.
  • Analyse user feedback and usage data to spot where the accounting experience can be improved, then work with the product team to make it happen.
  • Act as a bridge between agents and technology - translating the day-to-day realities of property management accounting into features that delight users.
  • You’ll join prospective client calls, answering any specific questions about client accounting flows, processes, and how Street.co.uk can make life easier for our users.

A bit about you.

  • You’re an experienced Client Accountant, ideally with a background in estate agency or property management.
  • You have a strong understanding of relevant regulations in the UK lettings management sector, in particular lettings accounting.
  • You’re highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing and lettings administration.
  • You’re a confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • You’re confident in translating complex accounting processes into clear explanations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary.

£40,000-£45,000, dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations, planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.
